The school is part of a very successful academy trust and has a team of senior leaders who have been at the helm for a number of years. The school has excellent provisions for SEND pupils and you will be well supported in the role.

The role will be full time and on a fixed term contract for the entirety of the 24/25 academic year. The role will be supporting SEND pupils on a 1:1 basis and delivering small groups. The hours of this role will be 8:30-3:30 and the school are looking for someone who:

Has at least one years' experience working in a school
Possesses a good understanding of additional needs within school
Can show empathy towards pupils
Can demonstrate good behaviour management
Will be able to build strong positive relationships with the children The main duties within this role will be:

Supporting children on a 1:1 basis who present with additional needs
Leading academic interventions with children working below age expected levels
Liaising with the class teacher and SENCO around progress of the pupils
