SEND Learning Support Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a specialist primary ASD setting in Barnet to recruit a dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.

This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), who is passionate about helping pupils develop communication, independence, and confidence in a structured and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with ASD

Support communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation

Assist pupils with learning activities across the curriculum

Support personal care where required

Implement individual education and behaviour support plans

Work closely with class teachers and SEN staff

Requirements:

Previous experience working as an LSA / TA / SEND Support Assistant

Experience supporting pupils with ASD

Patient, caring, and consistent approach

Comfortable supporting personal care where required

Available full time and able to start ASAP
