Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Electrician to join North West Leicestershire Council's Housing Repairs Team on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrician to carry out new installations and electrical testing across our housing stock. You'll be part of a busy team delivering maintenance and building works to both occupied and vacant properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete electrical works to current standards and regulations

Deliver jobs within required timescales

Coordinate tasks with the Asset Management Support Team

Use all provided tools and equipment safely and effectively

Follow all Health and Safety policies

Completing rewiring tasks

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence and own transport (with business insurance)

*

Minimum two years' work references, including one from your most recent employer

*

Previous re-wire experience is highly desirable
