Secondary Teaching Assistant | Immediate or September Start | Hazlemere

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Hazlemere. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to support young people and gain valuable school-based experience.

Role Details:

Start Date: Immediate or September 2025

Location: Hazlemere, Buckinghamshire

Contract Type: Full-time (term-time only), long-term or permanent

Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide in-class support for students across KS3 and KS4

Work one-to-one or in small groups to support learning and engagement

Assist teachers with planning, preparation, and classroom management

Support students with SEN and additional learning needs

Promote positive behaviour and build strong student relationships

Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable but not essential)

Be patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about supporting young people

Have strong communication and teamwork skills

Be willing to work flexibly and take initiative in a classroom setting

Hold or be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
