Vehicle Technician - Clevedon

Our client, a reputable Independent Garage based in Clevedon, Somerset, is seeking a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join their well-established and friendly team. Salary up to £38,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience)
28 days annual leave, including bank holidays

Operating hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday; no weekends required

Carried out fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles
Adhere to manufacturer standards and company procedures to ensure quality and safety as a Vehicle Technician
Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and report findings to the Service Manager
Conduct safety checks and ensure vehicles meet safety and environmental standards
Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and services performed
Assist at the front desk with booking in and out vehicles and addressing customer inquiries as required
Uphold health and safety policies and work to high standards of workmanshipRequirements:

Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (minimum)
At least two to three years' post-qualification experience in a garage environment
Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Demonstrate strong technical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Motivated, reliable, and able to produce high-quality work under pressure
An active MOT licence or experience with diesel, hybrid, or electric vehicles is highly desirable but not essentialThis position is ideal for a dedicated Vehicle Technician eager to develop their career within a professional environment.
