The Role: Regional Employability Manager

As the Regional Employability Manager, you will lead the educational and operational success of multiple employability training centres across West Yorkshire. Your role will focus on driving high-quality teaching and learning, in line with Ofsted standards, while managing a team of tutors and ensuring operational excellence.

What you'll be doing:

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple learning centres

*

Recruiting, training, and developing tutors to ensure teaching excellence

*

Conducting lesson observations and providing feedback

*

Monitoring learner outcomes, tutor performance, and centre compliance

*

Leading on Ofsted and regulatory readiness

*

Acting as a strategic link between centres and senior leadership

*

Using data to drive decisions and continuous improvement across the region

Who We're Looking For

You're a confident, people-focused leader with a passion for education and the ability to inspire high-performing teams. You'll need:

Essential:

*

A Level 5 (or higher) qualification in Education or a related field

*

3+ years of experience in educational management or operational leadership

*

At least 5 years of hands-on teaching experience

*

Experience conducting lesson observations and improving instructional quality

*

Familiarity with Ofsted standards and inspection preparation

Desirable:

*

Knowledge of e-portfolio systems (preferably OneFile)

*

Understanding of The Matrix Standard

*

A flexible approach to travel across multiple centres
