Teaching Assistant - Cardiff - Full-Time (KS2)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in the north of Cardiff. This is a full-time, long-term temporary position initially running until Christmas, with a strong possibility of extension through to the end of the academic year.

Key Details:

• Location: North Cardiff

• Contract: Full-time, long-term (until Christmas, with likely extension)

• Class: Key Stage 2 (KS2)

• Daily Pay: £88.94 per day (subject to increases based on client rates, experience, and qualifications)

Role Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely within a KS2 classroom environment, providing vital support to both the teacher and pupils. A key focus will be supporting individual pupils 1:1 in areas such as numeracy, literacy, and reading.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a primary school setting, preferably within KS2

• Proven experience supporting pupils 1:1 with numeracy, literacy, and reading

• Enhanced DBS certificate (mandatory)

• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

Desirable Qualifications:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning
