Project Engineer

We are now looking for a Project Engineer reporting into the Maintenance Manager at the Bradford Upper Tier COMAH site.

In this role, you will;

Prepare work scope, cost estimate and program for process plant and site facilities maintenance and development projects.

Prepare engineering designs, specifications and work scopes and oversee the same prepared by others.

Carry out the Management Of Change procedure, reviewing scope and safety issues relating to projects with site engineering and production personnel.

Raise procurement requisitions for materials and services.

Supervise installation contractors including review of method statements and risk assessments and preparation of permits to work.

Plan, manage and contribute to commissioning of new/modified facilities in cooperation with other discipline and plant production personnel.

Provide documentation and briefings to plant operating teams detailing the features and operation of new/modified facilities.

Collate progress and commercial reporting on all CAPEX projects for monthly review with site management and engineeering personnel.

What you'll bring to the team:

A recognised qualification in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering or equivalent.

Proven experience of leading engineering projects, preferably on an Upper Tier COMAH site/chemical manufacturing site.

NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent safety qualification is desirable.

Ability to prioritise a varied workload
