Site Manager | Wrexham | Full Time | Overtime when required | £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience

Our client are leading specialists in high voltage (up to and including 132kV) and low voltage transmission and distribution services including transformer and switchgear installation, modification, testing and commissioning, recovery and maintenance/repair.

As a Site Manager, you will be a part of the electricity transmission construction team who deliver Scottish Power projects 33kV to 400kV. This involves refurbishing existing and building new substations AIS and GIS.

Are you the right person for the job?

A knowledge of construction methodologies within the electricity transmission industry
Competency to work in substations 33kV to 400kV
Previously or current Scottish Power authorisation - desirable
Skill in organising resources and establishing priorities
Ability to work within a team environment
IT literate, specifically in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Project, and Excel
Full driving licence
What will your role look like?

Day to day management of site operatives, sub-contractors and site work
Development and implementation of safety documentation including construction phase plans, site quality plans and risk assessments method statements
Occasionally chairing co-ordination meetings
Planning and programming of current and future works
Occasional panel modification to assist commissioning engineers
