Working on commercial refurbishments across the local area in various sectors, so experience within this field is crucial for all applicants.

ABOUT YOU

• Will have at least five years' experience working on commercial tenders
• Be commercially aware
• Excellent communication skills
• Be able to work well within a team environment
• Motivated
• Experienced working on projects valued up to £5M
• Knowledge of the use of Microsoft projects (or similar)
• Experienced with NEC & JCT contracts

YOUR NEW ROLE

• Commercial refurbishment projects
• Provide estimated costs of proposed projects and survey/cost of completed works
• Prepare detailed forward plans of work commitments and appropriate labour requirements
• Liaise with client departments, contractors, suppliers, and statutory authorities in matters relating to work as appropriate
• Monitor and control the day-to-day finance of all estimated contracts, up to and including the production of final accounts
• Order and ensure that materials, equipment and plant detailed in specifications and drawings for construction or improvement work are ordered in accordance with tendering procedures.
• Attend meetings, seminars and training courses
• Liaise with specialists and consultants as appropriate to obtain assistance and advice

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Basic salary £65,000 - £70,000 (depending upon experience)
• Car allowance
• 28 days annual leave (inc BH)
