Conducts annual certification material specification testing for vibration and noise control automotive components n the materials test lab in the Engineering Technical Center. Creates test data and annual certification test reports for Nitto products to support PPAP requirements for new business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Run annual certification specification testing per customer specification requirements.
Create accurate test data by paying attention to detail and following standard procedures.
Supports Quality Engineer as needed for customer specific test requests related to quality issues at Nitto customers.
When workload permits, supports Product Managers/Product Specialists with testing to support new business opportunities.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Three years of test technician experience or Associates Degree in Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without an employment visa.
