Warehouse Operative (back shift)

Location: Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting for back shift warehouse operatives to join our client’s expanding operation in Cumbernauld.

Pay Rate:

£12.50 per hour

Shift:

10:00 – 19:00 | Any 5 days from 7 (weekend availability during peak periods)

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a warehouse operative are:

• Loading, unloading and sorting goods

• Scanning and allocating stock using hand-held scanners

• Supporting daily warehouse operations

• Manual handling up to 25 kg

• Maintaining a safe and tidy workspace

Essential Skills:

The skills required to be a warehouse operative are:

• Previous warehouse experience advantageous

• Experience using hand-held scanners (essential)

• Ability to read, write and identify numbers and codes accurately

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work

• Reliable and hard working

• Team player with a positive attitude

Transport Requirements:

Due to the location of the site, own transport or living locally within Cumbernauld is required.

Training:

• Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
