A fantastic opportunity to join an established Financial Management company in Cardiff as a Financial Planner on a permanent basis.
In this key role, you will provide clients with advice and make recommendations on ways to best utilise their assets to achieve their objectives - offering expert advice on mortgages, investments, insurance, tax and private pensions.
Location: On the outskirts of Cardiff. Due to location, you will need to be a driver.
Hours: Our client run a 4 day working week, working Monday to Thursday, 9am-5pm (no condensed hours or reduction in salary!)
What you'll be doing:
- Conduct in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision and future aims based on their changing needs and circumstances.
- Analyse information and present Financial Plans best suited to individual clients' requirements.
- Assess client's attitude to risk and capacity for loss, and design suitable financial strategies.
- Liaise with financial services providers to keep up to date on solutions in the marketplace.
- Review Cashflow Forecasts and recommendation reports prepared by the Professional Support team
- Develop new client opportunities via referrals, professional connections and networking in line with the growth strategy adopted by the business.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience working within a financial planning & client service environment.
- Proven experience of delivering client financial advice.
- Ability to work efficiently under own initiative with excellent attention to detail.
- GCSEs Grades (A-C/1-3) in Mathematics and English.
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office, Excel and financial software.
- Excellent telephone manner with a strong focus on customer service.

Salary will be circa 50k depending on experience.
