About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher for a long-term position in a Grimsby primary school, part of a well-established multi-academy trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is committed to early education and committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences.
You will take full responsibility for a Year 1 class, adapting trust-wide planning to meet the needs of your pupils, and ensuring progress through live marking and effective feedback strategies.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering engaging and structured lessons for Year 1 pupils provoking excitement within the learning environment
- Adapting trust-provided planning to suit the needs of all pupils
- Using live marking to support immediate feedback and progress
- Creating a positive and nurturing classroom environment
- Supporting early literacy, numeracy, phonics, and developmental skills
- Managing behaviour and routines in line with school and trust policies

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in KS1 (Year 1 preferred)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
