Food Technician - Full-Time & Long-Term - Southeast London - Immediate Start

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting a Food Technician to work with a range of secondary schools across Bromley and Southeast London. This full-time, long-term position is available for an immediate start, with opportunities to work in supportive and well-equipped departments.

Whether you're an experienced Food Technician or a graduate with a degree in a food-related subject (e.g., Food Science, Nutrition, Culinary Arts), we want to hear from you. Technician experience is preferred but not essential-we welcome motivated individuals eager to make a difference in education.

To be considered, candidates must hold a degree in a relevant field and possess an enhanced DBS on the update service.

Responsibilities:

Preparing ingredients and equipment for practical lessons

Supporting teachers during food technology classes

Maintaining hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen and prep areas

Managing inventory and assisting with ordering supplies

Encouraging students in developing their practical cooking skills
