A growing boutique accountancy practice in Manchester is looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Tax Senior or Manager to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse, high-value client base in a supportive and progressive environment.

In this role, you will manage your own portfolio of private clients, delivering a mix of advisory and compliance services. You’ll be working closely with high-net-worth individuals, non-domiciled clients, partnerships, trusts, and estates. The role is approximately 60% advisory and 40% compliance.

• Provide tailored advice on Inheritance Tax (IHT) and property tax planning.
• Manage and advise on trusts, estates, and offshore structures.
• Deliver advisory projects including IHT mitigation, pre-arrival planning, and CGT strategies.
• Review and oversee personal and trust tax returns, ensuring HMRC deadlines are met.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, attending meetings and offering clear, proactive tax advice.
• Support clients with HMRC enquiries, disclosures, and compliance matters.

• CTA / ATT (or equivalent private client tax experience).
• Strong technical knowledge in both tax advisory and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax matters to clients.
• Proven track record of managing a varied and high-value client portfolio independently.
