CNC Miller Setter/Operator

They are seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join their busy Machine Shop on a day shift.

Key Responsibilities

Set and operate 2-, 3- and 3+2-axis CNC milling machines

Produce small to medium batch components to high quality standards

Inspect finished parts using various measurement tools

Conduct 1st-off inspections for other machines

Adjust machine settings confidently with minimal supervision

Maintain tooling and replace inserts as required

Complete deburring operations as instructed

Perform routine machine maintenance

Operate overhead cranes (training provided)

Experience

Minimum 2 years' experience operating CNC milling machines

Experience using Fanuc and Heidenhain controls

Strong understanding of technical drawings

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
