Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Temp to Perm

Location: Huddersfield
Salary: £39,000 per annum
Shifts: Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:00pm
 Temp to Perm

ATA Recruitment is partnering with a well-established UK manufacturer to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer for their state-of-the-art production site in Huddersfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to work hands-on with high-speed bottling and packaging lines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems including 3-phase motors, drives, and sensors
Execute line changeovers for different bottle sizes and packaging configurations
Support facility systems: 230V lighting, PAT testing, and emergency lighting inspections
Perform reactive and planned maintenance to minimise downtime
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet output targets
What We're Looking For

Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Proven industrial maintenance experience - ideally in FMCG, food, or beverage sectors
Confident working with electrical schematics, facility wiring, and control systems
Hands-on, proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Comfortable working independently in a lean team environment
