Room Leader – Level 3 Early Years | £30,300 | 40 Hours Per Week, All Year Round

Our client is looking for an experienced and passionate Room Leader to join the team at their stunning nursery, set in a beautifully converted building. With fully equipped, age-specific rooms and a large garden for outdoor learning, this is the perfect setting for a dedicated childcare professional to inspire young minds. This full-time role (40 hours per week) offers the chance to combine leadership with hands-on work, creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) – essential.
• Proven Room Leader experience in an early years setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• A nurturing, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to childcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team within your room to deliver high-quality early years education and care.
• Plan, deliver, and review engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety standards are met at all times.
• Build positive, professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Mentor and develop team members, encouraging a collaborative and supportive working culture.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to observations and assessments.
