We are currently recruiting for an Inventory Planner to join our well-established client based in Milton Keynes. This is a pivotal role within the business, responsible for ensuring that inventory levels are optimised to support sales performance, accurate forecasting, and strong supplier relationships.
About the Role:
As an Inventory Planner, you’ll take ownership of inventory planning and forecasting to maintain the right stock levels—avoiding both overstock and shortages. Your insights and analysis will play a key role in driving operational improvements and supporting strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage inventory plans aligned with business goals

Forecast demand to ensure optimal stock levels

Perform regular analysis to identify trends and drive continuous improvement

Maintain accurate records and generate reports using ERP systems

Liaise and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient supply
About You:
We’re looking for someone with a background in planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain who is comfortable working with data and confident in their decision-making.
You’ll need:

Experience in inventory planning, supply chain, or demand forecasting

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Proficiency in ERP or inventory management systems
