Location: Ashford, TW15
Start Date: Monday 13th April 2026
Duration: Until July 2026 (with potential extension into September)
Working Pattern: Full-Time or Part-Time (Mornings only, 8:30am - 12:30pm, Monday to Friday)

Are you a passionate and nurturing teacher with experience supporting pupils with SEND? We're looking for a dedicated SEND Teacher to join a supportive ASD centre in a mainstream school, working with a small class of 8 pupils alongside 2 experienced SEN Teaching Assistants.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a well-supported, structured environment where you can focus on delivering meaningful learning and supporting individual pupil progress.

The Role:
You'll be leading a small ASD class, adapting mainstream learning to meet the needs of pupils and creating an engaging, supportive environment where every child can thrive.

Your Responsibilities:
✨ Adapting mainstream planning to suit individual learning needs
✨ Delivering tailored lessons in a structured, nurturing setting
✨ Assessing progress and providing meaningful feedback
✨ Working closely with SEN TAs to support pupils effectively
✨ Creating a calm, positive, and inclusive classroom environment

What We're Looking For:
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✔ Experience working with SEND, particularly ASD (desirable)
✔ A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
✔ Strong behaviour management and communication skills
✔ Passion for supporting children with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
