Teaching Assistant | Primary School | Preston
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support learning in a Primary School in Preston. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and provide targeted 1:1 and small group support, including some work with pupils who have Special Educational Needs (SEN).

This is a full-time position starting immediately, with a contract length of 3 to 6 months, offering competitive daily pay based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
Support pupils across EYFS/KS1/KS2 (depending on placement)

Provide 1:1 or small group SEN support under teacher guidance

Assist with classroom management and behaviour strategies

Help prepare learning materials and classroom resources

Promote inclusion and support individual learning plans

Record observations and report pupil progress to teachersRequirements
Minimum of 6 months' recent experience in a school setting

Experience supporting children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech & language)

TA qualification (Level 2 or higher) or equivalent experience

Good literacy and numeracy skills

Strong communication and teamwork skills
