Multiple Learning Support Assistant Roles - PMLD Specialism (Ashford)

Full-time | Monday to Friday | £90 per day

Are you passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD)? Tradewind are currently recruiting multiple Learning Support Assistants for a highly regarded Special Needs School in Ashford, offering the chance to support both primary and secondary-aged students.

This is a unique opportunity to join a nurturing and inclusive school environment where you can help students thrive both academically and personally.

About the Role:

Support students with PMLD in both group and one-to-one settings

Assist with learning activities and daily routines, including personal care such as toileting and feeding

Work closely with teaching and support staff to implement individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)

Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom

Help create a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment

Who We're Looking For:

Candidates with experience supporting children or young people with special educational needs, particularly PMLD (advantageous but not essential)

A caring, patient, and flexible approach with a genuine passion for inclusive education

Comfortable providing personal care, including toileting and feeding

Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude

Legally able to work in the UK and willing to travel up to 1 hour for work

Willingness to undergo all necessary background checks, including an Enhanced DBS (child workforce) - support provided
