I'm partnering with an award-winning AJ100 architectural practice to recruit a skilled Project Architect for their vibrant and sociable studio in West Sussex. The team delivers a wide variety of projects across residential, education, commercial, healthcare, and hospitality sectors, with a strong emphasis on sustainable design and creating spaces that put people first.

Key Responsibilities for the Project Architect:

  • Lead the design and delivery of projects across residential, education, mixed-use, and commercial sectors

  • Manage projects through multiple RIBA stages, maintaining high design and technical standards

  • Produce and oversee detailed drawing packages, specifications, and technical documentation

  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery

  • Contribute to sustainable design strategies and innovative technical solutions

  • Lead client meetings and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

  • Mentor and support junior team members within the studio

About You:

  • Qualified Architect with ARB registration

  • Significant post-qualification experience in a UK architectural practice

  • Proven experience leading projects across multiple RIBA stages

  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of UK Building Regulations

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills

  • Confident, proactive, and capable of managing project responsibilities independently
