Our client, a leading company in the construction industry, is currently seeking a skilled QA/QC Engineer to join their high-performing project team in North London. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects within critical environments such as Data Centres, Life Sciences, Aviation, High Value Manufacturing, and Critical Logistics.
Key Responsibilities: - Developing and maintaining all QA/QC documents for the project, including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports, and site instruction observations.
- Establishing standards for inspection and testing procedures, ensuring high-quality standards in all processes.
- Reviewing the quality of all site materials to ensure compliance with project specifications, collaborating with the Procurement Department and Project Team.
- Supervising the implementation of all test and inspection schedules, coordinating quality audits on processes.
- Providing training to employees on quality standards and compliance with quality manuals and procedures.
- Ensuring the safe handling and storage of materials, performing quality audits as scheduled.
- Analysing non-conformance processes, preparing monthly performance reports.
- Reviewing and monitoring project activities to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Collaborating with the Project Team and Flynn H&S Team to ensure that method statements and risk assessments are in place.
- Developing an Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on project specifications.
- Liaising with the Project Team and client representatives for material submittals and audits/site inspections.
Job Requirements: - Third level qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in construction or engineering.
- Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Knowledge of relevant building and quality regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
