Engineering Project Manager
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Engineering Project Manager to lead the delivery of bespoke machine projects from concept to installation.
This role suits a driven individual with a background in mechanical engineering and commercial project management. You'll work closely with engineering, production, and external stakeholders, combining strong coordination skills with a practical, on-the-ground approach. You will be ultimately starting the division from scratch, building from the ground up with a view to grow the team in the future.
Key Responsibilities

Manage full lifecycle of machine build projects - from handover to installation

Ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
*
Communicate regularly with clients and internal teams, providing updates and reports
*
Support production with a hands-on approach during machine build phases
*
Maintain and manage all project documentation and compliance certifications (CE, UL, UKCA)
*
Coordinate risk assessments in collaboration with QHSE
*
Ensure accurate record-keeping within ERP systems (e.g., Epicor)
*
Track and manage risks, resources, and project outputs
*
Develop SOPs and support continuous process improvements
*
Occasional international travel for project support
Skills & Experience
Essential:
*
Project management experience in an engineering or technical setting
*
Practical engineering knowledge
*
Proficient in CAD and Microsoft Office
*
ERP/MRP system experience
*
Strong Character to come in and change policies
Desirable:
*
AutoCAD (Inventor/Vault), Epicor
*
PRINCE2 or similar certification
*
Relevant engineering qualification
