We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis to support operations within a busy manufacturing environment. This role involves a blend of planned and reactive maintenance to ensure all plant equipment is functioning efficiently and safely.

What you can expect:

* Permanent Basis

* Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00

* Salary £38'650.00 per annum

* Full-time permanent role

What you will be doing:

* Conducting routine inspections of plant and equipment

* Performing preventative maintenance tasks

* Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults

* Responding rapidly to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime

* Managing key equipment spares and maintaining spare inventory

* Ensuring a clean and organised maintenance room environment

* Keeping process equipment in a safe and operable condition

* Carrying out mechanical and electrical installations

* Managing general building repairs and upkeep

* Supervising contractors on site

* Maintaining accurate records and scheduling planned maintenance

* Creating costed item lists for proposed work

What we are looking for:

* Strong working knowledge of process equipment

* Previous experience in an engineering maintenance role

* Understanding of plastic or PVC processes is advantageous

* Capable of working independently or as part of a team

* Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive attitude

* Good record-keeping and planning skills

* Experience overseeing contractors is desirable

* Formal maintenance/engineering qualification desirable
