Inventory Controller – Trafford Park
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Inventory Controller based in Trafford Park. As an Inventory Administrator, you will be providing essential clerical and administrative support to the business, working both independently and as part of a wider team.

• Any 5 out of 7 days
• 06:00 – 14:00
Rates of Pay
• £13.08 per hour
• £19.62 per hour overtime (after 37.5 hours)

Day-to-Day Duties
• Debriefing drivers and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
• Processing inbound loads into the warehouse
• Processing outbound orders for picking and dispatch
• Producing documents within agreed timescales to support warehouse productivity
• Completing perpetual inventory activity and conducting investigations
• Liaising daily with TGO suppliers
• Coordinating with Transport to ensure the backhaul process is completed correctly
• Ensuring audit compliance within stock and administrative functions
• Retaining and filing paperwork accurately to maintain audit trails
• Performing daily system checks and maintaining data accuracy
• Maintaining timely and accurate operational data
• Resolving on-hold pallet issues promptly
• Following all site Health & Safety policies
• Issuing and monitoring warehouse picking tasks
• Recording and reporting shift and operative productivity levels
• Investigating stock issues to maximise customer availability
• Completing additional tasks in line with business needs
• Complying with Food Safety Regulations, NSF, and BRC Standards
Essential Skills
• Previous administration experience
• Experience within warehouse or stock control environments (desirable)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Ability to work at height (scissor lift use)
• Able to work in a tri-temperature warehouse environment
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Experience with perpetual inventory counting and goods in processes
• Previous experience using WMS systems
• Basic Microsoft Excel and Office skills
• Food services or logistics background desirable
• MHE licence advantageous
Desirable Experience
• General administration background
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
