Early Years Teacher - Infant School in Brighton

Prospero Teaching is excited to recruit a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher for a vibrant Infant School in the heart of Brighton. This is a brilliant opportunity for an educator to shape the early learning journey of young children and make a lasting difference.

About the Role:

As an Early Years Teacher, you will:

Deliver imaginative and engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum

Create a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels safe, supported, and encouraged to thrive

Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of your pupils

Monitor and assess progress, offering constructive feedback to support development

Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to enhance learning outcomes

Promote positive behaviour and set high expectations for learning and personal growth

Position Details:

Location: Brighton

Role: Early Years Teacher (Infant School)

Start Date: September 2025

Contract Type: Permanent (Temp to Perm)

Hours: Full-time (08:00am - 16:00pm, subject to variation)

Salary: From £168.29 per day

Qualifications & Requirements:

Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Desirable: Previous experience in a similar role, a commitment to ongoing professional development, and a relevant degree or higher qualification

Eligibility Criteria:

Must have the right to work in the UK

Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate (on the update service or willingness to apply)

Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete training)

References available upon request
