Affiliate Program Manager
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Experience Level: 3-5 years Digital Marketing, 2+ Years Affiliate Marketing
Education: College Degree
You, the Affiliate Program Manager we've been anticipating our entire careers to meet, are all about RESULTS!
You're the reason strategies and growth plans succeed. You got this.
You're not expecting a lot of instruction and training--just a set of goals, the high expectations of our clients and a little guidance. You go fast. Your motto may be Perfect is the Enemy of Good , but you're always striving for better than good. You get things done.
You favor initiative over waiting; proactive over reactive; understanding over being right.
You're curious and love learning new techniques, new tools and new technology. You're an innovator with examples to show. You know the best ideas come out of constraint and limitation.
You're not rebellious but you like asking “Why Not?”
Flexibility is your middle name. Smart is your nickname. The people you've worked with named you MVP.
Client Satisfaction is your top priority. You measure your success by their success.
What you'll be doing (responsibilities):
You'll be tasked with independently delivering contracted services for assigned clients.
It might be ALL of our clients. Or just a few. Some small, some big. They're all important and their success is your focus.
You're a competent omni-channel digital marketer and an expert performance marketer. You have a proven track-record of driving results through the performance channel. You are
well-connected and have a stellar reputation.
You deliver. You complete assigned tasks on time. You also anticipate tasks that weren't assigned but need doing. You do them.
You turn a Growth Plan or a Media Plan into action items. Then you execute those action items. You create project plans and checklists and To-Do Lists. You're organized. You're effective.
You're a Taskmaster.
Communication is mission critical to achieving success. You've mastered both the science and the art of messaging effectively. You're credible, persuasive and, above all, a listener. You seek to understand.
Curation was a big buzz word the last few years. It described pulling together helpful, relevant or interesting information all together in one place. Sounds good. You curate resources for partner success. You bring it all together in one place. You might do a little cultivation and creation too. In Performance Marketing you know this means maintaining ad creative, data feeds, promotional codes, content etc. You might be trafficking ads one day and writing Blog topic ideas the next. Curate and Create. That's a big part of your job.
Advisor. You're an advisor to our partners. You perform diagnostics and control quality. You implement and manage incentive plans. Ways to improve CTR? No problem. Landing Page Optimization -- it's in your wheelhouse. Better merchandising of store pages? Absolutely.
Plus: feedback, recommendations, support, technical configurations. All a big YES.
Data. Data. Data. And more data. It's not really Performance Marketing without mastering (and, really, loving) data.
With data comes reporting. Lots and lots of reporting. Creating reports. Sending reports. Answering questions about reports. Most importantly... providing valuable insight into what the reports mean. You're not just a report maker. You're an analyst. You understand what is happening. That's what makes you an expert.
Always be selling. We all do “business development.”
Some of that responsibility includes identifying high value prospective partners and recruiting them. You easily share the value of working with us and with our clients. Meaning: you find ways to make it easy (and profitable) to do business with us. (This is the part you like. Maybe it's even your favorite part of the job. Yep, probably your favorite part.)
Perhaps less favorable, but still important: Meetings. You prepare for all kinds of meetings. QBRs. Team meetings. Partner calls. You're timely, reliable and insightful. You don't just answer questions. You ASK questions too. You participate. We hear your voice. You're engaged. You contribute and you add value. How you ask? (You tell us. We're asking you!)
