About the Role:

We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Materials Testing Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role involving site and laboratory-based testing of construction materials including concrete, aggregates, soils, and asphalt.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out sampling and testing of materials both on-site and in the laboratory

Perform standard in-situ tests including compaction, density, slump, cube testing, and more

*

Accurately record, interpret, and report test results in accordance with industry standards (BS EN, ASTM, etc.)

*

Maintain testing equipment and ensure all work complies with quality and health & safety procedures

*

Communicate with clients, site staff, and internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery

Requirements:

*

Previous experience in a construction materials testing environment is desirable but not essential

*

Full UK driving licence (essential)

*

CSCS card (or willingness to obtain)

*

Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work

*

Good communication and teamwork skills

*

Flexibility to work overtime and travel to different sites as needed
