We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team in a 1:1 support role. You will work closely with a child who has additional needs, providing tailored support to help them thrive in a nurturing early years environment.

• Provide 1:1 care and learning support for a child with special educational needs

• Work collaboratively with SENCO, key workers, and outside agencies

• Assist in creating and implementing individual learning plans and EHCP targets

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment

• Promote positive behaviour and communication strategies

• Support with personal care when required

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years Education (essential)

• Experience working with children with SEN, autism, or additional needs

• Understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures

• Excellent communication skills with both children and adults

• A caring, patient, and proactive approach

• Paediatric First Aid certificate

• Experience with EHCPs, Makaton, PECS, or other communication tools

• Recent CPD in SEN, Autism, or Safeguarding

• A supportive and experienced team
