Are you an enthusiastic and skilled English Teacher with a passion for both Language and Literature?
Do you have the drive to inspire secondary pupils to read critically, write creatively, and communicate confidently?

First for Education is seeking experienced and early career English Teachers to fill long-term, full-time roles in high-quality secondary schools across the West Midlands. We're looking for individuals with strong subject knowledge in both English Language and Literature, who can make a real difference in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 may be available)

*

Cover both Language and Literature components of the curriculum

*

Foster a classroom environment that promotes creativity, analysis, and discussion

*

Support students of all abilities to reach their academic potential

*

Contribute to department planning, assessment, and enrichment activities

Who We're Looking For:

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*

Experience teaching English Language and Literature at secondary level

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

*

A creative, reflective, and adaptable approach to teaching

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

*

Two recent, relevant references
