An ambitious construction consultancy that works closely with a major infrastructure client is seeking a bright Assistant Quantity Surveyor, with NEC contract experience, to work on a large scale project across London.
The Assistant Quantity Surveyor's role
Reporting into a Senior Quantity Surveyor, the successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will work across a major project located across London - this will primarily involve working from home with the occasional travel to site/ the client's office. Projects valuing between £100m - £1B.
The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will provide pre and post contract services and possibly run their own contracts. Day to day will involve a mixture reviewing cost data, carrying out commercial audits, contract administration, and forecasting.
The Assistant Quantity Surveyor
- NEC contract experience is non-negotiable.
- Previous infrastructure project experience (preferably electrical, substations, overhead lines) is desirable.
- Must be client facing, able to integrate well with teams
- Basic pre and post contract knowledge
- Completed a Quantity Surveying degree or similar
