We are inviting applications for an enthusiastic and dedicated ICT Teacher to join our forward-thinking school in Guildford starting from September 2025. This role is perfect for a professional who is passionate about technology and eager to inspire and educate students in the ever-evolving field of Information and Communication Technology.
Day-to-day of the role: - Design and deliver engaging ICT lessons that comply with the curriculum and cater to a range of learning abilities.
- Encourage students to explore and utilise different technologies and software, fostering digital literacy and critical thinking skills.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through both formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new learning tools and programming languages, integrating them into the curriculum to enhance learning experiences.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate ICT across other subjects and contribute to interdisciplinary projects.
- Participate in and contribute to staff meetings, school events, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, specifically in ICT or a closely related field.
- Demonstrable experience in teaching ICT at a secondary school level.
- Proficient in various programming languages and software relevant to the curriculum.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students in a dynamic learning environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to either full-time or part-time hours according to the school's requirements.
