Salary: £22,000 to £23,000 per year
Start: November 2025

Empowering Learning is working closely with a Secondary School in Bradford who are looking for a Design Technology Technician.

The job

Equipment and materials: Prepare, set up, and store equipment and materials for lessons, including cutting materials for projects.

Maintenance: Repair, maintain, and modify equipment. This can include anything from tools to complex machinery.

Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and keeping equipment in safe working order.

Stock management: Organize and keep stock of equipment and consumables, handling procurement and inventory.

Technical support: Operate and maintain CAD software and hardware, and provide technical assistance or training to students and staff on these systems.

Lesson support: Assist teachers and students during practical lessons, helping them with their projects.

Administrative tasks: Handle administrative duties related to the D&T department.
