- Salary: £12.99 - £13.89 per hour (£23,210 - £24,818 actual salary dependent on qualifications) Plus £1000 Welcome bonus*

Reed Education are working with an SEN school based in Smalfield Surrey with their recruitment for an SEN teaching assistant. This role would be to support students aged 7-11 with communication and social interaction difficulties, typically associated with Autism. They are seeking a compassionate and motivated Teaching Assistant to enhance their learning environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: - Establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with pupils to help them feel safe and enjoy their learning experience.
- Promote and encourage independence and personal development among students.
- Support the Class Teacher in the daily operations of the class.
- Adapt to the varying and changing needs of the school, including some physical intervention as needed (full training provided).
- Promote pupils’ cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development, and spiritual well-being.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - GCSE Maths and English qualification minimum Grade 4 or equivalent.
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable but not essential).
- Experience working in a special school environment is highly desirable.
- Team TEACH Training (desirable).
