Caritas Recruitment is supporting Cafcass with two temporary Family Court Adviser (FCA) vacancies within the Public & Private Law Team, covering Swindon and Wiltshire.
About the Role:
You will undertake early safeguarding enquiries, provide child protection advice, complete direct work with children, and produce high‑quality assessments and analysis to inform the Family Court on children's needs and best interests. Court experience is essential.
Key Details:

£37.75 per hour
37 hours per week
Monthly office attendance & weekly virtual meetings
Mixed remote/office‑based inductionEssential Criteria:

SWE Registration
Enhanced DBS within 12 months via agency
Social Work qualification
Full UK driving licence
Full Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship)Desirable:

3+ years' post‑qualifying experience
Experience in safeguarding enquiries, direct work & court reporting
