Audit & Accounts Manager - Guildford, Surrey £45,000 to £55,000

We are working with a well-established accountancy firm in the Guildford area, looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Manager to support its client base of owner-managed businesses and charities.

The Audit and Accounts Manager Role

This role offers a broad mix of statutory accounts, audit work and independent examinations, providing strong client exposure within a supportive and professional environment.

You will:

• Deliver audit assignments and independent examinations from planning through to completion
• Prepare statutory accounts for owner-managed businesses and Charities
• Knowledge of UK GAAP and SORP
• Act as a key point of contact for charity clients, including preparation and review of independent examiner reports
• Assist with audit planning, risk assessments and completion work
• Build strong working relationships with owner-managed businesses and charity trustees

Skills and Experience

• ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent
• Experience in audit and statutory accounts within practice
• Experience working with owner-managed businesses
• Charity audit and/or independent examiner experience
• Comfortable liaising with clients and trustees
• Strong attention to detail with good organisational skills
