As an approved partner of the National Tutoring Programme (NTP), Teaching Personnel are actively recruiting qualified teachers, teaching assistants and graduates (Maths, English and Science) who are interested in providing tuition within secondary schools across Greater Manchester (Minimum of 6 months teaching or tuition experience required).
The NTP was created to support schools help disadvantaged pupils whose education has been affected by school closures. As a tutor through Teaching Personnel you will be required to deliver 1:1 or small group tuition (up to 3 pupils) to provide a longer-term contribution to closing the attainment gap.
With a number of schools looking to implement and begin programmes ASAP, a variety of opportunities across schools within Greater Manchester will be available starting from December.
Teaching Personnel Tutor Overview:
- Supporting pupils aged 11-16 within subjects including Maths, English and Science
- Working in partnership with a number of schools to deliver 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3 tuition
- 15-hour tuition blocks delivered to identified pupils
- Full CPD and training provided ahead of beginning tuition programmes
- Pay of up to £35 per hour
Tuition requests will differ school by school in terms of programmes being implemented to support the learning and development of their pupils. You will work in partnership with senior leaders and heads of department to support pupils progress in identified subjects.
Full training will be provided to assist in the delivery of your tuition within client schools including the use of assessment, tracking pupil progress and safeguarding.
With various schools looking to begin programmes in December, all interested teachers, support staff and graduates who hold previous tuition experience are encouraged to apply immediately.
