Company: FINANCIAL DIVISIONS

Job Type: Permanent, FullTime

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum

Our client, a highly respected, Chartered and independently owned wealth planning firm based near Maidstone, Kent, is looking to welcome an Paraplanner into their growing technical team.

This is a well-established business advising a broad range of HNW individuals, retirees, accumulators, families and SME owners across Kent, Sussex and London. They provide holistic advice across pensions, investments, tax planning, retirement planning, and protection, alongside more specialist areas such as VCTs and EIS.

A key differentiator here is culture — the firm is focused on long-term client outcomes rather than sales targets, with advisers not being individually target-driven. They also benefit from strong, long-standing referral relationships with professional connections including accountants and solicitors.

The support structure is highly collaborative, with an experienced pooled team of paraplanners and administrators. It’s a genuinely team-focused environment where people are supported, developed and encouraged to progress, with ongoing CPD and full study support provided.

The Role

This is a Paraplanner role within a well-structured and supportive team. You will work closely with advisers and administrators to deliver high-quality financial planning support and ensure excellent client outcomes.

You will be involved in the full advice process, from research and analysis through to suitability report writing, supporting a wide range of client cases including more complex planning scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing suitability reports across pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning

• Conducting technical research and analysis to support adviser recommendations

• Producing cashflow models to support client planning strategies

• Supporting advisers with pre- and post-meeting preparation

• Liaising with providers and third parties to gather information and progress cases

• Working closely with the wider support team to maintain efficient workflows

About You

• Previous experience in a Paraplanner role (independent background preferred)

• Strong technical knowledge across core financial planning areas

• Experience writing suitability reports and supporting complex cases

• Ideally working towards or holding Level 4 Diploma

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-based environment

What’s on Offer

• Salary to £70,000 depending on experience

• Bonus scheme

• Pension

• Excellent benefits package

• 25 days holiday + bank holidays

• Hybrid working available

• Full study support and long-term progression opportunities

This is a rare and excellent opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner looking to join a high-quality, client-focused firm where you can develop technically and genuinely progress long-term.
