# Position Information

## Position Summary

Teach introductory undergraduate courses in History. Possible courses include:

HIST 105 Western Civilization to 1600
HIST 106 Western Civilization 1600-Present
HIST 112 World History I
HIST 113 World History II
HIST 150 US History to Reconstruction
HIST 151 US History since Reconstruction
Other 100- and 200-level history courses based on instructor's expertise.

This is a pool posting. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and remain active for up to two years. New adjunct lecturers are hired when needed to staff courses.

## Required Qualifications

Masters degree or higher in History or related field.

## Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience in History at the undergraduate level.
