Quantity Surveyor - Retail Fit-Out & Construction
Yorkshire (Hybrid - minimum 1 day per week in the office)
£50,000 - £60,000 per annum

We're working with a well-established and steadily growing retail fit-out and construction contractor based in Yorkshire, who are looking to add an experienced Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team.

With a turnover of circa £60 million, the business delivers projects ranging in value from £50,000 to £2 million, typically working on a schedule of rates basis. You'll be joining a settled, collaborative team and will be responsible for multiple live projects at any one time, ensuring they are commercially managed from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the commercial aspects of multiple fit-out and construction projects concurrently

Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts

*

Ensure accurate cost reporting and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle

*

Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams

*

Work closely with site and project teams to ensure financial control and cost efficiency

About You:

*

Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within construction or retail fit-out

*

Confident managing schedule of rates projects and multiple jobs simultaneously

*

Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail

*

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

*

Able to attend the Yorkshire-based office at least once per week
