The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Engineering Project Manager - Electrical to join a major engineering/consultancy client, to be based remotely.

Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager - Electrical to join our Major Projects team. As part of our Nuclear & Power business, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our portfolio of major projects. Your expertise in engineering, resource planning, and team development will be essential as we tackle complex technical and infrastructure projects.

Duties Include:

Engineering Management:
Act as an Engineering Project Manager overseeing the creation and delivery of high-quality engineering solutions. Ensure alignment with our Sector Management System and deliver in accordance with internal gated processes and procedures.
Technical Risk Management:
Utilise your technical experience to identify and manage technical risk throughout the project lifecycle. This includes multi-discipline design and substantiation tasks and projects related to new facilities, equipment, machinery, infrastructure, adaptation, refurbishment of existing facilities, and condition assessment of structures, systems, machines, and components.
Team Management:
Manage an engineering delivery team that leverages our capability, technology, and products to yield innovative solutions. Capture learning and continual improvements in supporting documentation, such as case studies and capability statements.
Negotiation and Requirements Development:
Negotiate with internal stakeholders and the supply chain to develop requirements and ensure that projects start with the right engineering mindset. Oversee a team of engineers, manage competency requirements, and continuously assess the team to ensure improvement.What You Need to Succeed:

Strong background in Engineering, having led engineering tasks and projects integrating multi-disciplinary delivery, including civil and electrical.
Experience and expertise in highly regulated sectors, working with engineering design and substantiation. Good knowledge of UK and International design codes and industry regulations.
The ability, desire, and drive to position our company as a successful partner and supplier through our reputation for technical excellence and quality of delivery in engineering disciplines relevant to the market. Manage and guide varied bid teams.
