Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Location: Primary School, Marston Green

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Full Time or Part Time, 8:30am – 3:30pm

• Provide 1:1 support to a child with additional learning needs, ensuring they are fully included in classroom activities.
• Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging learning experiences.
• Support the child’s social, emotional, and academic development.
• Use initiative and creativity to help overcome barriers to learning.
• Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals.

• Experience of working with children in a school setting, ideally in a 1:1 role.
• A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow directions but also use initiative.
• A relevant qualification in childcare/education (desirable but not essential).
