 We're partnering with a large, well-known care provider to recruit a committed Care Worker to join their multidisciplinary team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high standard of care and support an organisation that values respect and  dignity.
 Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be integral to ensuring service users receive personalised, high-quality care that supports their physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
 What You'll Be Doing: Your core duties will involve acting as a Key Worker for designated service users, which includes:

Creating, monitoring, and reviewing care plans in consultation with all relevant parties.

Providing hands-on support with personal and intimate care tasks.
  -  
Assisting service users with the use of essential aids and personal equipment.
  -  
Promoting mental and physical activity as outlined in individual care plans.
  -  
Liaising with health professionals during times of illness or at the end of life.
  -  
Ensuring the service user's environment, clothing, and effects are maintained to a high standard.
  -  
Monitoring nutritional needs and assisting with mealtimes.
  -  
Undertaking professional duties such as answering emergency calls, welcoming visitors, and completing accurate reports and documentation in line with conduct codes.

Participating in staff and service user meetings.
  
 What We're Looking For: To be successful, you'll need:
  -  
A high level of respect and empathy for all service users and an ability to facilitate their attendance at Christian worship or a place of worship of their choice.
  -  
Strong basic computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office and internet use) to complete e-learning and essential administrative tasks.
  -  
The ability to work a rota system that includes evening and weekend work.
  -  
A commitment to adhering to all Health and Safety and financial procedures.
  
 Qualifications:  -  
Ideally, you will hold an SVQ 3 in Social Care.
  -  
If you do not currently hold this qualification, you must be prepared to achieve your SVQ 3 within a specified period, for which training will be provided.
