We are looking for a chef to work with our client in North London on a full time basis. The role is varied and would suit a person with a pub chef background although chefs from other backgrounds are happily considered.

The venue is a pub/restaurant situated in North London and the hours are as follows
Mon 1pm - 9.30pm
Tue 2pm-9.30pm
Wed OFF
Thu 11.30am-4.30pm
Fri 11.30am-9.30pm
Sat 11.30am - 9.30pm
Sun OFF

These are the general times but some flexibility to help with holiday cover etc is expected. Pay can be weekly or monthly and is £16 per hour plus 28 days holiday (inc Bank Holidays)
The ideal candidate is a senior chef with experience running a busy British/European kitchen. Covers vary up to 60 per day. There is a set menu for daily dishes and then a specials board where you will be expected to create daily specials from fresh food.
You will be responsible for ordering, waste management, cleaning schedules and records will need to be updated and a high standard of hygiene is expected as well as keeping on top of the orders coming in to the kitchen for food.

You will be working alone but there is a wash up person in daily as well. Although you will need to be responsible for your own clean down at the end of shift.
