Warehouse / Storeperson

Location: HMP Highpoint, Stradishall, Newmarket (CB8)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm

Pay: Competitive hourly rate + holiday pay + pension

Duration: Long term (1 year+)

Temporarly hourly rate on a PAYE basis

Valid CSCS card is essential

We are looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse / Storeperson to join a busy team at HMP Highpoint. This is a long-term opportunity offering consistent weekday hours within a supportive and well-run site environment.

You will play a key role in keeping the stores running efficiently by managing deliveries, organising stock, and supporting the wider site team.

• Receiving and checking deliveries
• Booking in stock using a simple computer system
• Keeping the stores area clean, tidy and organised
• Issuing materials to site teams as required
• Maintaining accurate basic records
• Preparing materials ready for use on site

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or similar role
• Comfortable using a computer for basic tasks
• Good attention to detail and organisation skills
• Reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Valid CSCS card is essential

• This role is based within a secure site, so clearance will be required before starting
• Due to the location, candidates must be able to travel to site reliably
