Our client have 4 new opportunities in Guildford for a Night Assistant, working full-time, on a permanent basis.
You'll earn £18,497.70 per year +10% night shift allowance. Your working pattern will be 4 nights on 4 nights off on a 7 day rota.
Who you'll be helping
Based in Guildford, Number 5 Hub is an exciting new rough sleepers hub where staff offer a personalised, trauma informed, strength based support service to people will complex needs.
The Team at Number Five HUB will be responsible for coordinating and providing a personalised, trauma informed support service to people with complex needs who may be facing multiple exclusion
Staff will be accountable for coordinating and providing a person centred, strength based support service in line with Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) approaches and principles to support people out of homelessness and back into mainstream society. PIE approaches support the team to understand the complexity of the problems people face. It has widely known that services that adopt a psychologically informed approach can enable people to move on and thrive in life.
The company's understanding of trauma informed approaches helps them to deliver services which are emotionally in tune and take in to account the trauma caused by homelessness over the years. It's vital that their approach is positive and supports tangible improvements in the psychological wellbeing of the people they support. They support their customers to stabilise their emotional health and create long term sustainable accommodation options by increasing independence and maximising connectivity within the local community.
The HUB is focused on preventing and breaking the perpetual cycle of homelessness and rough sleeping in the Borough of Guildford to help achieve our vision to end homelessness together.
What will you do?
Your key responsibilities as a Number Five Hub Concierge and Security Assistant will include:
•Having an awareness of the clients groups support needs, and contribute as directed to the delivery their agreed outcomes.
• Implementing night security systems, ensuring overall safety and security of the scheme.
• Meeting the requirements of health and safety policies and practices.
• Effectively dealing with anti-social behaviour.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness within schemes, preparation of rooms and site inspections..
