Position: Key Stage 2 Learning Support Assistant

Location: Caerphilly

Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

Learning Support Assistant Job Description:

As a Key Stage 2 Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process. Working closely with the class teacher, you will provide individualized assistance to students to ensure their educational needs are met effectively. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons.
Providing one-on-one support to students who may require additional help in specific subjects.
Encouraging a positive learning environment and fostering a love for learning.
Assisting in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
Supporting students with varying learning abilities and behavioural needs.
Collaborating with other staff members to create a cohesive learning experience.Learning Support Assistant Requirements:

Prior experience working with children is highly desirable.
A genuine passion for supporting young learners and helping them reach their full potential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with both students and staff.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to individual needs.
